King Bally Productions brought the streets to the Mall of Asia Arena as Global Hoops 2016, the biggest streetball event and urban music showcase the country has ever seen was held last August 20.
Featuring Streetballers teams from USA (Court Kingz) led by Streetball king, Hot Sauce; China (RPZ), led by their own street ball superstar MoreFree; And last but not the least, our very own Team King Bally-Philippines led by 2 time PBA MVP Willie “The Thriller” Miller.
Team Court Kingz-USA live up to their name after winning both exhibition matches against their foreign counterparts, while Team RPZ-China electrified the crowd with their deadly outside shooting and wicked handles. Team King Bally-Philippines have their own oohs and aahs during the event.
Despite falling short on both of their exhibition games, the King Bally-Philippines team turned out an impressive showing during their two matches.

During the half-time break, the country’s local hip-hop artists turned up and represented the Three-Stars-and-a-Sun with epic performances. From the Philippine All-stars with the Philippine Rockstars (Kensjohn) to Quest, LDP (Abra, Alex Omiunu, Rjay Ty), Loonie, Ron Henley, Gloc-9, Andrew E., and event emcee Mike Swift. Dope beats were heard at the background during the games from the events guest DJs.
Hyping countless Filipinos with his music and for his contributions to the local urban scene, one of the godfathers of OPM hip-hop, Andrew E, was presented with the “Icon Award” by King Bally President, Allan Delos Reyes.
Global Hoops 2016 executives awarded a promotional cheque to the representatives of Children’s Hour, Earth Day and Christian Mission Services Philippines (CMSP).
